Congratulations to Mabel (5M) who entered the Blue Peter “Our Planet Now” competition and finished in the top 30 overall and top 10 in her age group.
The competition was timed to coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow and Mabel’s poem will now be projected onto a large screen in Glasgow during the conference and in a video showcasing the words of young people highlighting their hopes and fears for the future of our planet.
Well done, Mabel. We are proud of you and that the poem actually started out as some work she had been doing at school last year.
