NACE Challenge Award Schools

Nationally, over 400 schools have successfully gained the NACE Challenge Award, in recognition of school-wide high-quality provision for more able learners within a context of challenge for all.  St Cuthbert Mayne is the only school in the local area to have achieved this award.

“An effective whole-school policy for more able pupils has resulted in a consistent upward trend in the performance of more able pupils and outcomes above the national picture for others. This trend is predicted to improve.”
