The pupils of our school are what make us proud.

Money is raised for House charities throughout the year including sharing the leaving collection at our two productions. Year 6 put their profit from their Market Day towards the charities. 4YW ran a cake sale to raise money for Mrs Young to take to Mozambique when she visited St Michael’s Children’s Home in October 2018. Our children were delighted to see video footage of the children receiving Christmas gifts with the money raised.

In addition to the chosen charity work that each of the Houses has adopted, the school as a community has been active in helping those in need.

For example, recent campaigns have been:

Mary’s Meals – rucksacks (107 rucksacks collected)

Cafod appeals for Tsunami in Indonesia and for Yemen – both came from children’s letters to the Head and we had non-uniform days to raise money.

No Choctober – £1,981 – was raised for the Kidney Federation. This was an outstanding contribution through sponsorship and a special day.

Catholic Children’s Society – £367 was raised as part of the Diocese’s Lenten Appeal
