Open Evening Presentation

In these restricted times, we are unable to host our Open Evening as we would have hoped.  We have made a presentation for you in place of being able to see you in person. Open Evening Presentation (will open in a new tab)

Meet The Teacher

'Meet The Teacher' evening.  In these times when we have to use all of the digital tools at our disposal to communicate with our school community, we had a fantastic response to the ‘Meet The Teacher’ evening using Google Meet. If you missed the evening, or you wish to share the information within your family, please visit our Curriculum Meetings page.

Friday 4th September

We are looking forward to welcoming all our pupils on Friday, September 4th. Please read the guidance: SCM School Opening - Phase 2 Sept 2020 and other related guidance on our Covid-19 Update page: Covid-19 Updates Most important are the Start and Pick-up timings, and each child having a named water bottle.

St Cuthbert Mayne Catholic Junior School

Pupils live up to the school’s deeply rooted values. Pupils described to me very clearly how they try to fill each other’s ‘emotional buckets’ with acts of kindness so that all pupils can be happy at school. – OFSTED 2019

We are a thriving, happy and forward-looking school with a history of success. We are a two form entry junior school situated in Hemel Hempstead, in the Diocese of Westminster.

We aim to develop and encourage each individual child to reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum. We aim to do this within an atmosphere of love, trust and respect in partnership with you, the parent. Our Mission Statement "Growing together in love and learning as followers of Jesus" is reflected in the whole life of the school. It defines our values and vision for our Catholic identity within our community.

We hope our website provides a flavour of school life, but you are most welcome to come and visit us and experience firsthand our unique atmosphere at the school.
