School Clubs

We are very pleased with the variety and the number of clubs that are available for the children to attend. Clubs run throughout the week and others that are planned for the future.  Some clubs run before school, other at lunchtime or after school enabling children to attend at least 1 club and in some cases more.

We aim to provide an enriched curriculum which includes clubs that develop children’s interest in other areas.

If your child is interested in attending any of these clubs then please encourage them to speak to their teacher. For some clubs that have been mentioned above, there is a charge which goes towards maintaining the club, purchasing resources/equipment and for the instructors.

Information of how to sign up for these Clubs can be found on the links below:

Apex Football Club – Tuesdays Year 3, Wednesdays Year 4 and Thursdays Year 5 – Apex Multiports Football Club – St Cuthbert Mayne School – September 2020

The sessions will be delivered by coaches from Apex Multisports.  It is essential for children to wear their school PE kit and sensible footwear www.apex360.co.uk

Magical MathsWednesdays for Year 3 – postponed until Spring term 2021 Magical Maths 6 week programme

 

Football Club (first half Autumn Term 2020 and first half Spring Term 2021)

Year 6 – Mondays until 4:30pm.

School PE kit should not be worn to the Football Club as kit may become muddy for subsequent PE lessons. Shin pads must be worn for football, and footwear should be appropriate for the weather conditions (studs when muddy – trainers/astros when hard).

Netball Club (second half Autumn Term 2020)

Year 6 – Mondays until 4:30pm.

School PE kit should be worn for Netball.
