Teddy Bears and pyjamas raise the roof

Pyjama Day produced great excitement as children raised money for Children in Need. It was wonderful to see so many soft Teddies and animals have an outing and enjoying our curriculum too. I hope they enjoyed their day.

Thank you to our Chaplaincy Team who came up with the idea to support the living out of our Mission Statement. They have already made a big difference to our school community this year. We thank them for organising our Pyjama Day and for raising, on our first count, £299.35 for Children in Need.

The class who raised the most was 4 Jeminson with £47.50 – well done!

Pyjama Day was very enjoyable not just because we wore PJ’s but we raised money for Children in Need – Year 3.

Pyjama Day was the perfect end to our Feeling Good and Anti-Bullying week. Children have been renewing our ever-present bucket filling initiative and we have been working on our understanding of this year’s Anti-bullying theme Change Starts with Us. We can make a small change that makes a big difference in how we treat each other.
