Planned Industrial Action 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May
You may be aware that all four unions involved in the ongoing dispute with the government have rejected the government’s pay offer. As a result, the NEU have planned two further days of strikes for their members on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May.
On this occasion, staff in school will not be following their unions instruction to strike. Instead, rather than withdrawing labour, they are exploring other avenues of supporting their unions aims which they continue to support.
Therefore, I can confirm that all classes will be open as usual on both 27th April and 2nd May.
